FLIGHTSEEING

MCKINLEY EXPERIENCE:

This one-hour tour by small plane takes you within 6 miles of the mountain's summit, and your pilot will do a full narration as you fly over the wide, glacier-filled valleys and high peaks.

Multiple departures daily are available for both of these adventures by air as you explore the massive peaks and glacial valleys of Mt McKinley and the Alaska Range. Each tour is fully narrated. For added safety, glacier boots are provided during the helicopter tour, affording you the opportunity for a glacier landing. (weather permitting). Each tour provides transfers from your hotel.

FOUR GLACIER ADVENTURE:

This flightseeing tour by helicopter travels up to the massive Juneau Icefield on a 65-mile adventure that is highlighted by a 20-minute landing on Norris Glacier (conditions permitting) as well as viewing four glaciers in various stages of progression. Total flight time is about one hour and multiple photo opportunities and full narration by your capable pilot-guide make this an unforgettable experience.)

1-DAY TOUR BARROW EXPEDITION:

This full-day tour departs Fairbanks at 8am by small plane, flying at under 10,000 ft to afford all passengers a good view from a window seat. An enroute stop is made at Coldfoot prior to continuing on to Barrow. Receive your official Arctic Circle Certificate, walk the shores of the Arctic Ocean and learn about the lifestyles of the native Inupiats who call this village home. Return to Fairbanks by air at about 7:00pm.
